Quando chiedo alle mie amiche o a conoscenti se i loro figli - di tutte le età- mangiano, il 90% delle volte mi sento rispondere di NO e che per farli mangiare devono distrarli, o rincorrerli, o forzarli, o che comunque impiegano molto tempo a farli mangiare .

A questi genitori (mamme) io vorrei dare qualche consiglio, derivante dalla mia modesta esperienza:

1) Non abbiate fretta di cominciare lo svezzamento. Non farlo prima dei 6 mesi (dice anche l'OMS) e comunque ricordarsi che fino all'anno di vita il bambino deve assumere il suo maggior nutrimento dal latte (materno o artificiale) quindi il cibo serve solo per abituarlo ai gusti diversi e - dico io- a mangiare da solo, masticare, ecc.
