BARI - In Bari, in Puglia, February 18 to 20, will meet the highest international experts of "Kind of Medicine" at the International Conference of CardioPneumo AIMEF 2010, the National Congress now in its seventh edition. In particular, the woman finds herself in a spectrum of cardiovascular and respiratory diseases with structural gender, mood, functional, behavioral and socio-cultural, or during physiological events such as pregnancy, menopause and the elderly, and in the course of related conditions such as obesity, diabetes, smoking, mental health problems. The focus is mainly on the interaction of gender with other social determinants of health: social class, age, disability and migration. The objectives of equal opportunities between men and women in matters of health and recommendations geared towards further differentiate, in terms of age and gender approaches to health expertise, promotion, prevention and health care represent one of the nodes crucial for improving the quality of a modern healthcare system.
