My son is almost 13 months and, until recently, shopping was quite difficult, I pushed the stroller with one hand and the other pulled the basket from the supermarket (With the cart we have never failed) trying to extricate between narrow aisles and other people in a kind of snake very uncomfortable. Last week I decided to put my son to sit in the shopping cart but since that is touched by all - and he continually puts his hands in his mouth-I thought of building a sort of hygienic coating. I did not invent anything, because they sell it abroad already (see here and here), however - not forgetting to save, I tried to do it alone. Shown in the picture above the measures which, after some corrections were right for the shopping cart that is in our supermarkets. You'll need a long piece
circa 225 x 90 (inclusi i bordi per fare l'orlo); piegatelo in due nel senso della lunghezza, ritagliate i buchi per le gambe, inserite l'imbottitura e date qualche punto per fermarla alla stoffa, quindi cucite i quattro lati esterni e i bordi dei buchi per le gambe. L'imbottitura l'ho fatta con 2 fogli filtro -ma ne basta anche uno- per le cappe da cucina che ho acquistato dal ferramenta a pochi euro.
La parte di stoffa davanti ai buchi per le gambe andrà a rivestire l'impugnatura del carrello. Per tenerla ferma si può attaccare del velcro nel lato inferiore ad un dito dal bordo esterno e a tre dall'inizio dei buchi per le gambe e quando si è inserito il copri-carrello nel carrello li si unisce. Et voilà!
